Plus apparently they are messy once they start dropping needles everywhere. And it seems very wasteful to grow trees for 5 or so years just for the purpose of cutting them down to use for a month :p It isn't like with cut flowers which can be replaced and grown back much more quicker :rose:

Well it depends on the flower type. Popular flowers like roses will keep on growing back on the bush for months on end (especially since many flowers that are grown to be cut and used as gifts are grown in controlled environments that keep them healthy and flowering for longer ;)) As for Christmas trees - I have seen a Christmas tree "farm" which has patches of land with trees of all ages (a new batch must be planted every year, and the oldest batch gets cut down and sold every year) I think it would probably take at least 4-6 years or so for each generation of trees to become a decent-enough size to be used as a Christmas tree. Better off going with plastic ones that can be stored and re-assembled each year :D

Maybe you don't have Christmas tree in your house but you can go see them in others house or store, mall... and gifts come without the needs of tree

Good points, the ones in the malls are often massive, no way those ones are real  but this poll is just about those who have one sin their own houses :house: one that one person might have could be different to their neighbours :)
