Hi everyone! Well some of you remember me asking about selling the rights to my "Shoot for the Stars" deviation, well I'm glad I raised the price (by 8 times the amount in fact) since the person glady paid me $400 for it!!! :w00t: in fact, he took that price no questions asked, no attempt at haggling me...I guess that has me a little concerned as it makes me question whether this thing of his really is just a small thing he's setting up (I will kill myself if this game of his becomes the next World of Warcraft) But oh well, it's a risk all artists take when selling their work...it's not much different to a traditional artist selling their painting or drawing, and I don't think I would ever get an offer like that on that particular work again, so I got more money out of this than I will ever get in print sales on DA anyway :buymyprints:

In appreciation for all your thoughts (which actually got me on todays most popular journals at the time) I decided to feature a deviation from everyone who commented by surprise...I can't say I agreed with all comments, but I respect and understand everyone's views nonetheless, and will keep that journal, and all its comments for future reference too ...Just don't expect features every time, otherwise that would be a little shallow and would lead to thoughtless comments on future pleas for help, But here you go for now :handshake:

There should be 60 features, there’s more journal content below these artworks :gallery:

:thumb95927145: Where Is My Motivation? The sun is high.
The sky is blue.
And I'm inside
With lots to do.

And I can't get
Off of my ass
Oh, this is youth?
No, thanks, I'll pass.

Where is my motivation?
I chose a dumb vocation.
Where is my motivation?
My poor imagination.

The air is sweet
But I can't breathe.
I've got more pain
Than you'd believe.

I want to win,
Want to succeed,
Want to accomplish
And achieve.

But where's my motivation?
I'll say the incantation.
Where is my motivation?
Ain't got no destination, no.
Ain't got no destination, no.
Ain't got no destinationnn....

SeasonsThe year begins in Winter’s Wrath
The icy cold, snow and sleet.
The frigid air and frozen ground
Nature lies untamed.

The thaw begins
The snow slowly melts.
The ground is once again soft
And color returns to the world.

We spring forward as Spring begins.
The cherries blossom as flowers bloom
The grass is once again green.
Color returns to a once cold world
Life is started once again.
The world begins anew.

The Spring comes slowly to an end
The sun begins to beam through the colors of nature
Summer wakes to the splashes of water
As the sprinklers dance and wave

But time goes on as the sun falls back with the time

:thumb93260488: Welcome to BritainiaWelcome to a free fair country
Where all your rights will be ignored
This is where you shout as you like
But try as you might you won’t be heard

Driven by a band of morons
And paid for by the working man
Tax the poor then tax the rich
Then tax your soul and the life you live

How far will they take this
And what's the price that you will pay
Will you jump at their command
Or fight for what we were promised

Those moments
You know, life has its simple pleasures and its bad ones. We've all got things we're thankful for. Things we regret or are sad for. We've all got irreplaceable memories: Road trips, theme parks, or just random days sitting at home. I've got my fair share of those things I don't want to forget. I'm talking to the closest friend I've ever had, Ronnie Farmer. I could never replace him. He's a brother to me, No less. My opposite but my equal half. I’ve been through a lot with him. He never gave up on me and was there for me when nobody else was. He is that person who even though has nothing to do with the situation would say he would and si

Other news This dreadful house-move is STILL going, I managed to get most of my plants and fish across  safely…but I would be lying if I said there were no fatalities :tears: But oh well, with less things to look after, I can have more time to spend on what I DO have.
Because of this move, I have no internet connection, and probably won’t over the next week. I’ve been keeping on top of my DA messages in class, but things like the deviations that appear on my watchlist will have to wait, Because of this, I might be a bit slow when it comes to responding to messages, as I only have class 3 times a week, and I’m NOT using the public ones, since they charge a ridiculous $2 for a crappy 20 minutes…DA would send me broke at that rate, still, I have my laptop, just no internet, so I can still make art :painter:

Well, at least you got a lot more that what they originally offered. :D
That said...it must have taken a long time to browse though all those galleries and feature all that art, just as a thanks for everyone who gave input on what you should've done. ^^ Thank you!

Yeah, they didn't really give an offer, I just said $50 before because they only said "whatever you charge for a commission" which $50 is my standard price (maybe I should raise the bar a bit now) so before I replied telling them it would cost them $50, I thought I'd ask here first...good thing I did :w00t:

Yeah, must have been well over an hour, or probably two to get all the features...especially considering that I have to use Firefox on class computers, which may be fast, but it's shit at loading thumbnails :pissed: I actually ran out of time and had to save the thumb codes in a word document and continue a couple of days later ...that's how determined I was to thank everyone

Hmm, well there's a starbucks nearby (wow, if it wasn't for the move, I wouldn't have said that lol) But my laptop dosn't have wi-fi though...I'm trying to avoid buying extra appendages for my comp unless it's really neccessary
