A picture says a thousand words, and this new Wacom intuous of mine, bought only hours before me typing this journal - will surely draw a thousand artworks in good time ;)

Lol, I havn't even had the chance to open it and set it up yet, I've been checking messages here on on the Luminarium first so I won't have any distractions  Still, I'm stoked that I can finally join in on the tablet party. I'm sure this will significantly affect my artworks (for the better) and open up new opportunities once I learn how to use it  Though there is one thing That I need to finish first that would be best done with a mouse to keep its style consistent, but I can't submit it here until the Luminarium does it's showcase with mine in there (hopefully) so once that's done, I'm sure to give my Wacom a spin and try it out :excited: Just don't expect any miracles out of me straight away. I might do some smaller practice things first, perhaps simple nebula's or scenery, not all of which I'll spam you guys with here, then I'll start on the advanced stuff again :)

Of course, that's not to say I'm gonna toss the mouse out...the mouse will still be my primary tool for 3D work. But maybe I'll become less reliant on 3D after I pick up on my digital painting skills more now that I have this.
Secondly, I bought it outright from the store, I'm glad to have fully paid it off in one hit, since now it's 100% mine with a year's warranty. But as you can image - I'm left short of money so I'll be doing a catering job for a while...it's gonna suck spending hours washing thousands of greasy utensils, but oh well...I'll come home, start painting and remember it's all worth it :D Besides, it will probably be only 'till Christmas :xmas:

Which reminds me - to avoid this journal just being about myself and my new toy, lets get a convo or wishlist going here...Tell me - what do you YOU guys want for Christmas? :santa: It's not far away after all, but I feel like I've gotten my present early lol (even though I paid for it) But I know I'm getting this smexy shirt I was eyeing off in the store, and I'm hoping just for some money to help pay for Vue 7 too!
Any plans for the Holidays too? I know many in the Northern hemisphere won't be doing much in this cold, dark time of the year, but surely those in the south are looking forward to a long Summer holiday right? for the first time in years - I am, I'm heading up the coast to see my Dad, who lives just an hour away from my Best friend who moved away to the Gold coast...for those who don't know what the gold coast is, consider it the Australian equivalent of America's Miami in Florida 8-) it's the coolest place in Australia, I love going there, I envy my best friend for living there too :sun: It's going to be a blast spending a few weeks up there after Christmas, but that means I probably won't be able to spend much time here, I'll let you know whats happening when it draws close :handshake:

WOW that was a lot, if you made it this far, then you deserve a Coke.

For Christmas, I want a computer, graphics tablet, and a place of my own...

Now... Which is cheaper? :plotting:

I have no idea which is cheaper...they'll both cost you a kidney  I'd take the tablet lol. Live off your parents for as long as you can (well...not too long, you don't wanna be 40 and having to ask permission to use the bathroom) ;)

Tablet land  I got this literal picture of a landscape with rolling green hills, covered with giant tablets :lmao: Hopefully it won't even take a few years, but I'll temporarily be back to the basics again as I learn to adopt a new method of drawing
