I still havn't fully got over my dissapointment mentioned in my last journal. But luckily things have improved a little bit. I would also like to thank astarsia for featuring me in her journal, which is probably the reason why things have picked up a bit recently.
After waiting so long to finally use 3D, I managed to get my hands on two of them. Both of which would be used for different types of art. Cinema 4D is one, and I'm pretty new to it. but that would be mainly be used to make unusual themes that would just look cooler in 3D. The other I would like to mention is Terragen, which will form the basis of any landscapes or space-art that would look more realistic with it's input aswell as further work in Photoshop, such as "Cinder Cone" for instance. But to those who like Photoshop better, or think that it involves more professionalism, then no need to worry because Photoshop art will still be the main form of art in my gallery.
I would also like to say that I am taking part in the first public Terraspace competition
[link] held by Terraspace, a club for all space art that involves some sort of land or terrain in it. I will be pitting myself against some of the best space artists on this site and My entry is under way, it has taken a long time already and isn't nearly finshed but looking really awesome at the moment. I won't say anymore than that otherwise I'll spoil the surprise. In the meantime I have a few finished works to fill the gap. The terraspace entry most likely will be submitted sometime in April, which isn't too far away !
Update - May 4th 2007.
Most would have realised that "Stranded" is my Terraspace entry, But this update is just to inform people that I cleaned up my gallery a bit. Nothing important but I had quite a few deviations that didn't receive a single comment or fav in over a year and that was dragging my overall gallery stats down. So if anyone pays attention to the profile at the top and wonders why the deviation count has gone down, I'ts because I prefer quality over quantity.
Besides...no one would know of the deleted ones anyway, so they arn't going to be missed.
