Overall it's a very eye-catching piece, so it definitely has a good first impression and it reminds me of the classic traditional space illustrations that I loved as a kid
I'm not so sure about the bending of it though, from this angle the streaks of dust clouds in a galaxy would probably be more linear or even curved the other way since we seem to be above it more than below it (judging from the fact most of the stars are below us) I think further away it needs way more stars though, the further, middle areas (behind where the dark dust is) would have millions of tiny, almost noise-like faint stars. Most of the ones here look like they are relatively close but more that are tinier and further away would certainly keep going off into the distance
Hm... I chose the shape more fo aesthetic reasons than any other, but I agree, I need to add in more tiny stars, which I will do once I have some spare time.
