Description
The new remake of an old work from 2006 of which has been moved to my scraps (where it belongs ) but here it is anyway [link] the reason why I re-made it was an attempt at entering the "kick your own @ss" contest. However the REAL entry has to have both old and new in one, that is here [link] I suppose it's easier to make the comparison that way
This one caused me needless amounts of stress and took copious amounts of time (try 70 hours spread out just over 2 weeks! more than twice my usual working time!) only to get a result that I am only mildy satisfied with
I felt like it took much more time than the end result is worth, Some would call that a stepping stone in devopment, but I didn't learn a thing, all I cared about was getting the damn thing done as I was losing patience with it. I realised a few things though - referencing from "How to draw Manga" books really is as useless as some of the pro's say - I got her pose and figure idea from an example in such a book, I tried my best to copy it without tracing but in the end - I wound up with something still riddled with anotomical flaws (face, angle of foot, perspecive of arm etc) , but thankfully not to the extent of the old version still, I think starting from today onwards I might try and learn more on the subject so hopefully my future attempts of these will not only look better, but also be faster and less of a pain in the ass to draw too...So the reason why I didn't enable critique is not because I think it's great, it's for the understandable reasons that 1) - I spent enough ime on this as is and want to move on, and 2) - as stated somewhere in this text-wall, I am aware of the mistakes
Artwork and character design are original creations made by me and are not to be used or re-distributed in any way without my permission
