Valley dew by priteeboy Valley dew by priteeboy
I guess You could say that this is the sister work to My previously submitted 'Balmy nights'[link] and not to mention the newer version "Nightfall" [link] And why not make more ? after all the first was one of My more popular artworks not to mention that I really enjoy making night scenery even though this took about 9 hours. I will definitely end up making more sometime later.

It look nice, but it is also copyrighted. Do not steal this image from my gallery

The moon looks better now that it's partially shaded. And the cobweb looks nice there.

You should learn to use these emoticons lol :psychotic: :excited:  Anyway, I'm relaly glad you like this, most forget all about it when they compare it to my newer works, but I remember being proud of this one at the time :aww: This one here was mostly done in Paint Shop Pro 6 - that program is like - a decade old by todays standards and I don't use it anymore in favour of Photoshop =p

I think the key to a good landscape is understanding how nature and the Earth works. Which I have known since I was a kid since it has been a life-long intrest in mine (lol, the other kids were reading Dr Suess, I was reading "how the Earth works" :nerd:) But I'll amdit it can be a very boring subject to most people. But little things like knowing that a mountain is more than a heap of raised land, but rather it has ridges carved into it from weather, pockets of vegetation appearing in lower, flatter areas and so-on always help. But really it's always easier to draw something good if you enjoy drawing that subject and know a fair bit about it (no-one can do a good job drawing something they find uninteresting :movingon:)

Looking at photo's helps  I noticed you faved half a dozen other valley photo's before finding this. I stupidly relied on memory alone for this when it could have been much better if I looked at photo's. So yeah - those re good reference, you'll pick up natures little quirks when looking at a photo for a long time too, things you wouldn't have thought of if drawing just from memory =p

Hazards ? You must be referring to the volcano. They are dangerous to us but the fertile soil they make when lava cools does wonders for the environment. They give more life than they take. ( but still keep Your distance ).
