Lol, thought that line from one of Green Jelly's songs suited this This is my entry to 's contest, given the theme "create art depicting a storm". Which I didn't want to miss since Storms and weather have been my first hobby I ever recall devloping, years before space, or plants or any of my other interests. Why, I knew almost everthing about tornadoes especially by the time I was 6, seeing how they are my "favoured" natural disaster, yet my most feared too (what am I worried about, it's not like I live in central USA, but I still get paranoid whenever the sky turns black).

the creation time was my standard really, not a small, easy project, but nothing too epic either (wouldn't have the time, I got it in a day before it closes lol..but now, after submitting it, I found out the deadline was extended lol) I just had to work hard and get what I normally would have spent nearly a week making done in a few days. But there's nothing I'd rather do, as this was fun to create
Made using a mixture of 3D work (Vue for landscape, Telephone pole modelled in Cinema4D) and Photomanipulation, using stock photo's from Extreme Instability.com (yeah, they have stocks now, the photo's are dramatic, but pretty small, so I just scaled it up and "painted" over it in Photoshop to smooth it back out and add more details). Some parts of the clouds, as well as all of the tornado were drawn purely as is without any stocks though

Edit: wow! I never got any more than 200 faves in the first day before, but this tripled THAT record. Thankyou all so much!
Edit-2: I came third place in the contest, which is pretty good considering how big the turnout was!
Edit-3: This is the first-ever deviation in my gallery to get past 1000 faves without the need for a DD, thanks a lot for the faves!
