Artist's Comments
Sonics ability to run on water is certainly one unique to most other game characters, so I devoted this to one of Sonics almost forgotten abilities, Mainly only seen in the 2D Sonic games such as the Sega or GameBoy advance. The fact that he could run so fast allows him to skim across water ( which makes up for the fact he can't swim ) However I've only seen him run across flat water, So I made him running a wave, theres no need for a surfboard and if You look closely, You'll notice that he has made a complete loop inside the wave barrel. All I know is that if I could run fast enough to do this, I would never leave the beach !
Time taken, about 20 hours. It was kinda hard without any reference but I was still happy with the results ! If fullviews too big then I'll slightly reduce it For scenery lovers, the backround without Sonic [link] Sonic the Hedgehog is a copyrighted character of SEGA. this deviation however is mine so Ripping is prohibited |
