Spectrum of Emotions by *priteeboy is just one on those emoticons you can sit and watch over and over again. The concept is brilliant and small details such as the different expressions really enhance the fluent animation to make an outstanding emoticon.

Description

Inspired by the advent of new and revised Emoticons here recently, I decided "why not make my own?" - after al, I have the know-how, I have one other animated GIF in my gallery so far and I made my own avatar too...just finding motivation is hard because it literally takes HOURS just to make a few seconds of animation :faint:

I might as well enter this Rainbow Contest too, even though I had something else in mind, luckily I can enter twice if need be, wish me luck, I personally thought this was an original and humerous idea for an emoticon, sorry it's a bit bigger than standard emoticons, it was the only way I could get each face to appear clear (the individual emotes by the way ARE correct size) - I wasn't intending this one being one that could actually be used anyway :p

So lets look at the colour's meanings ay? colour often gives a certain mood in art, I chose the most common representation for each, keep in mind this is in my own words, how I interpret them;

:bulletred: Red: Red is the colour of blood, so since the dawn of time it was a colour used as a warning, red is danger or attention, when we get mad, the blood vessels in our face increase flow and make our faces red! :rage:
:bulletorange: Orange: Did you know that looking at the colour orange increases oxygen flow to the brain and temporarly improves IQ? that's why I consider orange the "smart" colour, smart people aren't easily impressed, hence why the orange blank-stare emote works so well :|
:bulletyellow: Yellow: The colour of sunshine, Daffodils, baby ducklings and all things happy, yellow is bright and lively, the classic smiley face is yellow, and so is the much used "lol" emote :lol:
:bulletgreen: Green: While green can represent nature and health, in reference to humans, looking "green around the gills" as the saying goes often refers to sickness, and anyone who has puked raw green bile would agree :dead:
:bulletblue: Blue: Arguably the most popular colour on Earth, and also the most common, blue is regarded as cool and calm, hence the sporty sunnies 8-)
:bulletpurple: Indigo: The neglected colour of the spectrum, people will often skip "Indigo and Violet" and just simplify and say "purple" - Indigo is rather dark and dismal, so I thought it would be best for the solemn feel of sadness :saddrunk:
:bulletpink: Violet: Considered the creative and passionate colour, maybe that's why most of violet's fanbase are often artistic or spiritual people, so the "cute" face I gave is kinda a representation of the loving, deep and understanding nature of many violet lovers :happycry:

Did you know? - That red light has the longest wavelength followed by orange, right down to violet with the shortest (but with most frequency) - it's that which always causes red to appear first in the rainbow with violet last :community:

Thanks a lot also to `arrioch and ^Synfull for featuring it as a Daily Deviation! :bow:
