Rings of glory

whoa, first space-themed deviation in about 2 months lol. Well it sure felt good to make one again. though this time I tried a different method in creating it. Just about everything here, except for the stars, planet-atmospheres and some bits of cloud was rendered as is, directly out of Vue 6.
manually-painted textures were applied to huge spheres which were pushed far beyond Vue's "world limits" to make 3D planets, rings were done similar, having been projected onto a massive Alpha-plane which covered the whole scene, and all of this takes place above Vue's amazing spectral atmosphere with some of its amazing, yet underused MetaClouds to simulate those immense storms that would be covering the skies of this gas-giant that you are currently floating above, whilist seeing a neigbouring giant off in the distance
