One Hundred Muro Drawings!

About once a year (barring a couple) I usually release a "big" project that has taken me considerably longer to do than anything else that year, and although its still early - I can say this will be that one for this year, the first of the drawings was done almost a year ago already in fact!

Last year I spent a lot of time doing complicated illustrations for various topics in deviantART's "drawPLZ" forum, which allows users to post doodles they do in Muro that fits a theme given by the thread-topic starter. It started out as just for fun at first so my first half-dozen or do pictures weren't saved (they sucked anyway) but I reached a point where I figured I could do more with Muro that one could assume it was capable of, so I came up with this 100 drawings project as a personal challenge and to also prove that Muro doesn't suck (at least not as much as people say it does anyway

) The artist's skill still trumps program-power

Do YOU have what it takes to draw and submit 100 Muro drawings? It would be interesting to see if anyone tries to undertake such a task, just don't expect it to be over and done with in a few weeks unless you have a lot of time and patience

Each of these took me an average of 40-50 minutes, some longer, some shorter (would have been faster if Muro didn't lag though

)

Fun Facts:

More than half feature people, creatures, characters or other "alive" things. The remainder being scenes or "stuff"

There are 37 human or human-like characters but only 2 are female (what can I say, I like drawing guys more)

18 relate to either science fiction or space, though some can be questioned depending on the viewer.

24 involve some sort of animal or animals (real or fictional/cartoon) 5 of which are cats. Aliens and monsters not included.

There are six Mario-related things, including 2 Mario's and 2 Yoshi's.

only 37 are background-less, the remainder all had backgrounds drawn for them.
