Mediterranean Village by priteeboy Mediterranean Village by priteeboy
This was my exhibit peice for the Luminarium's current artpack which was freestyle this time so people were free to illustrate (or musically compose) whatever they wanted. Those who care can see it here [link] :greetings:

So with it having no theme one would wonder why I didn't go for some crazy space scene or whatever. I had plenty of potential ideas but I decided it would be better for me to try something still landscapey but not like what I'd normally do just to stretch my digital painting skills a bit further. I'd say I didn't have too much trouble doing it, but it was painfully slow since I was indecisive about a lot of things and procrastinated a lot too ;p But oh well, I did it and I'm proud of it :bow:

There's a progression series of this work at Village: progression :nod:

All artwork in my gallery remains the copyrighted property of myself and is not to be used, modified or sold without my permission

Yeah I often like to draw "ideal" locations, as the real world doesn't have enough of them ;p

Oh wow, this is a fantastic piece of work. *A* The depth is amazing, and shown very well with the road and sizes of the boats, and wfkjsd all of it is so detailed!

I know this is going to sound like a weird question, but would you possibly allow me to use this image as a non-profit website banner? I'd be sure to credit you, and even have a link back to this page if you wanted!

Glad you appreciated the depth in it. I certainly tried to accomplish a good sense of scale :handshake:

I'm afraid I don't allow people to use my work as an actual part of their website itself though free of charge. Only features (like on blogs and stuff) Sorry ^^;

You definitely succeeded in my opinion, every time I look at it I see new details that I didn't spot before that just add to the depth and make it more amazing. *3* <3

And that's perfectly alright! But, you said "free of charge." Does this mean I can possibly purchase the right to use this work on my Weebly? o3o Or no?
