Commission - Green Gem Grottoby `priteeboy

This was a wall-art commission done for

who is fond of glowing green crystals and had a concept for a cave where such crystals have grown and glow, it was requested to be a little similar to my personal work Glitter Grotto which as one can see, shares the same basic idea

Unlike that one, I used no 3D in this. I know it isn't my "best" work, but at the same time it wasn't a high-paying commission so there was only so much time I could stay motivated to keep doing it, It was also tempting to use 3D, especially to get that cool glassy look on the crystals. But every once in a while I feel obligated to do a scene just in Photoshop alone as even I feel that "painted" scenes often look more artistically nicer than 3D renderings, even though to me - 3D is a bit more fun and yeilds more believable results. Still, here's another digital painting excercise at the very least

Hopefully I'll have some personal stuff to add soon, it's been a slow couple of months, totally unlike me

Thanks! Colour and lighting is my favourite aspect of art. I think it has the most significant impact
