This was commissioned for Priya Kishna who needed a visual way of representing the futuristic city in her story, both at day and night. The city is mix between science fiction and fantasy (hence the floating islands which are part of those world) I decided to put them both as one submission, I have a feeling people will generally prefer the night version but I still personally like the day one more.
No vehicles were requested (thank God) and they are not needed anyway since residents stand on warp-pads which teleport them to where they need to go immediately. I sure would prefer that convenience over a vehicle too There are no streetlights, as odd balls of light tend to appear after sundown and light up the pathways.
Modelling the buildings in 3D took forever, I think I made over a dozen new models just for this. Maybe someday they'll come in use again though

Well done ! What a wonderful work you did here. Perhaps, I know why people tend to prefer the night version, as I : because of the shading lights which adds a 'magic' touch. And purple is cool anyway The buildings I found the most original is the egg-shaped one at the left !
I enjoy your art a lot an I would like to know if you could possibly take a request for my fan fiction/ Future city collection?
Again, this looks awesome!
Thanks for the compliments
