I originally wanted to make a peaceful looking snowy scenery maybe with a pastel purple/aqua sky, light snowfall and some snow-covered pine trees. But I got carried away trying out the snow and clouds I made beforehand and it turned out more like a blizzard. However I was still happy with how it turned out anyway because it still delivered the 'Cold' vibe to it.

Glad it feels that way. Even though I have quite a few snow-themed deviations in my gallery (which is funny since I hate cold weather) - this is probably the "coldest" since all the others are pretty calm while this one has snow rushing in at gale force speed...I wouldn't last one minute here lol :snowing:

That is an awesome painting. I love how the background seems to fade behind the thick, falling snow. Good work.

Lol, yeah, as I mentioned in the comment, this should have been clear as day in the weather, but it came out quite the opposite, in fact, a real blizzard would be even harder to see through than it already is here.

Yeah, sometimes the art seems to have mind of its own. I've been through three blizzards, so this one looks like one just getting started to me. Of course none of the places I was at had the awesome rock structures and ice.
