With the contest extended, I thought I'd try and make another environment for *wewy's contest. This time, less realistic and more fantasy-like ( phew, just made it in too )....
Glitter Grotto is a medium sized city which was originally a mining town, but evolved into a tourist attraction. Built around the biggest crystal inside what is actually a colossal geode rather than a true cave, this city is nested where it can be well-lit from the light coming from the crystal, as well as feeding most of its power-needs from the energy it radiates. Its light gives off a beautiful sight as it refracts through the glassy bodies of millions of other huge gems scattered all over the rock walls, each appearing as a faint purple flash from such a distance.
And as you can imagine, if this were a stage in a game, you would be sure to run into some very interesting characters ( and enemies ) in this dark, mysterious world

Sorry, no free requests. Whatever time I don't spend on paying commissions I prefer to work on one of many of my own ideas that I've been wanting to execute for ages
If you want to see one that badly you could try commissioning me, I have done crystals in commissions before [link]
omg this is gorgeous. You need to set up a page of all these rooms. Holy christ I wish I could draw like that. As I had told you a while ago, I use paint shop pro and make rooms people like but damn I wish I could do this type of detail. This be great for a secret room with treaure in it. This is sort of what I am interested in but lower on the glitter. I want to set you up for our site on the main log in page for art work for people to take notice. I also sent you a note
I actually started out with Paint Shop Pro 6 and that's all I had for 6 years starting from 2001 I created some reasonably detailed stuff in my later years with it before upgrading to Photoshop, it is possible
More likely Crash Crystals I'd say others have also mentioned some other games too, but I forget the names. Guess glowing crystals are very popular in games and fantasy/sci-fi movies
